About me

With 4 years of agency/industry experience working with, designing and creating websites, I would like to progress my career as a Digital Designer by honing my skills in the craft of UX/UI design. I am passionate about web design and am looking for the next step in a digital agency to further develop my skills and learn from a larger team.

CMS

Experience creating and managing webpages and themes in WordPress and Joomla. I have also built custom themes from scracth using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

Adobe Creative Cloud

Competent and 9+ years experience using Illustrator, Photoshop, Premier Pro, AfterEffects, InDesign and XD.

SEO

I have practical experience designing web pages and content to maximise SEO.

UX/UI design

Extensive use of Sketch and Adobe XD to build UIs and layouts for webpages, online brochures and applications.

Digital Designer

In the team I am responsible for designing any new content added to a brochure, whether it be small changes to existing brochures, or designing a new brochure from scratch using parameters set by the client. I design these brochures in InDesign and then code the brochures onto the custom built CMS system called theRACK using HTML and CSS.

During this position I was the caretaker of all things digital, whether it be designing and building websites and email campaigns, SEO or social media campaigns for clients. Additionally I was responsible for managing and conducting the training and development of a more junior digital designer.

As well as creating artwork proofs and mock-ups of promotional merchandise for clients, I managed the e-commerce website by refining some of the older pages, introducing new content to improve SEO as well as resolving any bugs or issues we had with the site. Placement Student

My main duties as a placement student was to fix bugs, create design assets for the University’s websites and talk to staff and students to improve the digital services and applications provided by the Digital Solutions team. I used my first hand experience as a student and used student surveys to implement new technologies and features into existing websites.
